Cultural learnings between Pakistan and Nepal

As part of an E-motive trajectory, the learning group of Pakistan country team visited READ Centre, Hamri Bahini- The Green Angels, Rockstart and Daayitwa Rural Enterprise Acceleration Programme. Each initiative tackles local challenges. Inspired by new insights and knowledge, an action plan made, how to implement their learnings in Bangladesh. A return visit is scheduled for the second half of 2018, when representatives of the Nepali initiatives will come to visit the learning group.

I am honored to be part of a team that is able to implement cross cultural learnings.                -Mevish, Female entrepreneur from Lahore

Topics for solutions
To make the rural Hubs successful and sustainable for young people is a complex challenge. The Hubs need to become youth-friendly, provide tools to create job opportunities, and become a community space. E-Motive therefore looks into solutions for four broad topics.

  • Safe mentoring & peer learning models
  • Safe mobility
  • Job creation tools
  • Community space creation
