Mira- Farmer from Bangladesh
I am Mira, a farmer from Rajshahi district of Bangladesh. Me and my husband struggled with just one income and I wanted to help provide for my family and give my children a better life. Through the EYW, I learned soft skills, received entrepreneurship training and created a business plan. I started off with one cow and now I am known as the “Lady Farmer”. In the future I dream of owning my own eco-friendly farm, where all of the workers are women.
